Responsibilities: Provides support in identifying, analyzing and resolving
a range of budgetary problems through the gathering, assembling, analysis, and presentation
of results. Apply budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations and policies
of the organization and agency, including assisting with developing alternative
methods of funding, reprogramming, reapportionment, deferral or rescission of funds.
Provides assistance in the application of policies, objectives, regulations and
guidelines to sufficiently enable the program to achieve its goals. Present budget
adjustments, reprogramming, and resolution of problems in order to be make business
and financial decisions that benefit all aspects of the program.
Requirements: Experience in accounting, budgeting or cost estimating
systems used for financial management of multi-million dollar contracts. Experience
analyzing, consolidating and communicating financial performance results and financial/business
performance recommendations to management. Experience with government contract regulations
and associated financial regulations.Reliability, initiative and solid work ethic.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills.
Three to five years of experience in accounting/budgeting management. Minimum of
two years of experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook
